Peter

Peter was born in Walthamstow in January 1937.  He is the oldest of three, having two younger sisters, Pat and Jackie.

He joined BT from school, and, after completing his apprenticeship, he joined the Royal Navy to do his two years National Service.  He returned to BT afterwards and stayed with them until 1988 when he took early retirement, having reached the level of Senior Executive Engineer at BT headquarters.

After his first retirement he completed the Physical Therapy training he had been doing in his spare time and began a second career as a physiotherapist.  He retired from this at the end of 2002, because of our impending move to Spain.

He has two sons, Philip and Andrew, who both have daughters—Philip's Zoe (2001), and Andrew's Toni (1990) and Genna (1993).   Philip also has a son, Guy, born in 2003.
