Us

There are three of us, Anna, Bill and Peter.

Bill and I have been together since 1982 and we were married on my birthday in 1988, six months before he had a massive brain haemorrhage, which left him unable to walk, talk, read or write. After a year in hospital he came home and we set about learning to live our lives in a new way. 

In 1996, Peter moved in as my partner and Bill's friend and helper. Now we have all spent more than eleven years learning yet another way of living our lives.

Some years ago we decided that we would like to live in the sun when we had retired and we researched the project thoroughly. Bill was a little nervous at moving abroad, but he decided in favour in the long run, and is now happily settled in his purpose-built apartment in the sun.
