In my last two years at work I belonged to the Information Technology team and spent a lot of my time expanding and maintaining the website used by the group of six offices to which I was assigned. The program I used for this was Frontpage 98 and I thoroughly enjoyed the work.  It suited me very well to spend my time assembling information and then presenting it in a way that was attractive as well as informative.  I was somewhat restricted in the effects I could use, because of the parameters laid down by Head Office rules, so I did not have much experience of marquees, hover buttons and such frivolous components.  However, I am learning!

I was greatly helped by one of my colleagues in particular, and could always rely on him to explain or repair as necessary.  And along the way, of course, I learned a lot about the workings of Frontpage...which is why this site is also built with Frontpage, although it is now version 2000.

As it says on the homepage, this site is mainly to document our move to Spain, for the benefit of those we left behind, but it is expanding to cover other areas as well.  And I am thoroughly enjoying the experience, and learning more all the time.
