We have done some tidying of the side now that the pool and its terrace are finished and the rest will eventually be a series of stepped terraces with raised beds for native plants. We will decorate the terraces with pots and ornaments, and may even have a seat or two, as that side of the house is considerably cooler through the majority of the day.
At the road end looms the car port, which enables us to get the Mitsubishi off the road when the sun is not hot enough to have to put the car in the garage before the paint melts.
