This is an excellent Chinese restaurant. We have taken many guests,
including some real Chinese food aficionados, and they have all been very
enthusiastic over the choice, the flavour (with no obvious traces of
monosodium glutamate) and the value. They also do takeaway food, if you
are near enough. We usually have a menu for two between the three of us and it is plenty, especially if you start with one of their enormous spring rolls—I have never seen another one to approach the size. And they taste really good, as well. The desserts are the usual choice of ice-cream or Chinese fruit salad (plus fritters on the a la carte menu), but it doesn't bother me because they have a very superior variety of chocolate ice-cream and I am very happy to have that. |
